Move the Insertion Pointer
The four arrow keys move the insertion pointers up, down, rights and left.
- Moving the cursor doesn’t erase characters.
- If you press and hold down the Ctrl (Control) key and then press an arrow key, the insertion pointer moves in larger increments.
Moving from beginning to end
| End | To the end of a line of text |
| Home | To the start of a line of text |
| Ctrl + End | To the end of the document |
| Ctrl + Home | To the top of the document |
| PgUp | Up one window full of text or to the top of the document if you are near there |
| PgDn | Down one window full of text or to the end of the document if you are near there |
| Ctrl + Alt + PgUp | To the top of the current windows text |
| Ctrl + Alt + PgDn | To the bottom of the current windows text |
Return to the Previous EditUse, Shift + F5- Pressing the, Shift + F5, keyboard shortcut forces Word to return you to the last spot you edited.
(Go to wherever with)Go To Command- For example, to go three pages forward, type +3. To go 10 pages backward. Type -12 in the Page Number box.
